Breaking Free from Limiting Beliefs for Ultimate Success with Jill Petersen & Mary Frances

Two of my favorite humans are joining me today on the show!!! Mary and Jill are two of the absolute most epic and amazing humans I know... They have created something so magical, special, and NEEDED. 'Girls Mentorship'. And on today's show, we're kicking off the discussion with the importance of leading by example when it comes to instilling values of commitment and hard work in our daughters, sisters, and young women in our lives. Mary shares how meeting Jill at Lululemon in 2018 led to a friendship that has pushed them both to pursue personal growth and development.

As we delve deeper, we talk about the negative effects of self-sabotage and self-doubt on our ability to succeed (something many adults still deal with on the regular). Jill and Mary encourage us to surround ourselves with like-minded people who support and uplift us and let go of the belief that we can be everything to everyone. This conversation was so fun and so good!

As moms, we understand that our journey to success isn't just about raising children, but rather, it's about raising future adults. By embracing change and taking risks, we can inspire the next generation to do the same.

"We desperately need these lessons because we're not born with it, it's not taught in school. It's through pitfalls, break ups, and mess ups where we learn them."

What you will learn:

1. Rewriting your life and stepping away from the status quo to pursue a life of choice.

2. Navigating the difficulties of transitioning from childhood to adulthood and finding the tools to do so.

3. Understanding how self-sabotaging behaviors can be replaced with self-mastery.

What you will hear:

  • If you want your daughter to be successful in life, you need to equally be committed to the work you’re teaching her with yourself.

  • We can’t be everything for everyone, so we need other people who are taking a stand.

  • We’re not raising kids, we’re raising adults.
